Introduction

“Tenshinsho-den Katori Shinto-ryu” is a tradition transmitted in the Katori district of Shimosa province, founded by Iizasa Choisai Ienao. The tradition has been maintained through the generations to the present day by the heads of the Iizasa family with the support of resolute practitioners.

　This website has been launched as the tradition’s official site – a venue through which to convey correct information on the traditions – following an increase in interest in our tradition in recent years not only in Japan, but worldwide.
